Joycie Mederick started her career in fashion as a High Fashion Model working with the founder of the Super Model Concept John Casablanca Model Management in the 1990’s. She later redirected her studies to Management of Fashion and Luxury Companies with University Commerciale Luigi Bocconi.
Joycie’s early experiences in Tourism and Travel Management lends to her success having worked in the Airline Industry for over a decade. In 1996, Mederick founded Caribbean Collections Fashion Week, which provided the stage for emerging and established designers from Saint Lucia. She has assisted in launching the careers of many Saint Lucian designers and continues to work with emerging talents in the arts. A cultural ambassador she worked closely with Saint Lucia Carnival costume makers. Mederick has won many titles throughout her career.

In 2016 she was elected President of the SFC and have grown the membership bringing designers together into the spotlight.

in 2017 she established the Miss Saint Lucia Pageant brand, working and developing young ladies to fulfilling their careers in the Arts. A former Pageant Queen She continues to represent international Pageant brands as Miss Universe, Supernational, and several other pageant systems.

Helena Isaac is a former student of the Castries Comprehensive School with a major in secretarial studies. She worked as a Secretary for quite a few years. Helena fell in love with fashion from a very tender age, by watching her mom who was a seamstress work. she developed her passion for creating and making women look beautiful. Sewing and crafts were always her favorite hobbies and over time Isaac decided to take sewing seriously. It took some time and lots of studies and hard work which has paved the way She has been operating in the fashion industry for over 30 years.

Corentia Esnard has been a pioneer in the fashion and garment industry her career spans four decades. The first garment that she produced was shift dress in 1974. She later went on to establish her company Tallies Garments in 1981. Tallies Garments specializing in Childrenswear, and manufacturing for schools and other clients. She attributes her success to her commitment, pride, and good workmanship

Claudia Jn Baptiste is a former Banker who worked in the Financial Sector for 13 Years. She went on to establish and operate her craft business Country Shop Collections for the past 25 years and provides support as Small Business Consultant. She is a trained Business Counsellor with Small and Micro Enterprise Development. She worked with USAID, NRDF, The French Mission for Technical cooperation and VSO International. Her career and success spans four decades.
Claudia is a founding member of the SFC and serves as secretary to the organization.
